I live in a western suburb of Cleveland, one mile south of Lake Erie. I'm a married, at-home mom of four wonderful (most of the time) kids. I like swimming, ASCII art, and crafts. I'm old enough to have a graduate degree in Exercise Physiology and a few grey hairs... but young enough to have fun-- and I can still swim!

Joan G. Stark is one of the Internet's best known ASCII artists. Her work is world renown and her site high trafficked over the years. The artist brings her personal interests and style into her prolific volume of works, mirrorring her expression and enthusiasm for the digital art medium.
